Salvation

Salvation

Salvation is the gracious act of God by which He rescues humanity from sin and eternal separation from Him through faith in Jesus Christ. The Bible declares that “all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23), meaning that no one can earn righteousness through good works or personal merit. Yet, out of His boundless love, God provided a way of redemption through His Son. John 3:16 proclaims, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” Salvation, therefore, is not something we achieve—it is a divine gift freely given through grace (Ephesians 2:8–9).

When we confess our sins and place our faith in Jesus Christ, we are forgiven, born again, and reconciled to God. Romans 10:9–10 affirms, “If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” This new life in Christ brings spiritual transformation, peace with God, and the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, who empowers us to live righteously. Salvation marks the beginning of a lifelong relationship with God, promising eternal life and daily fellowship with Him. As 2 Corinthians 5:17 declares, “If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.”
